Questions
Does Hunker upload my app usage?
No. Your app list, screen time and settings stay on your phone. Hunker has no account and no ads. See the privacy policy.
Why does Hunker ask for Usage access and Display over other apps?
Usage access lets Hunker see which app is open, to block the ones you picked and count your screen time. Display over other apps lets it show the block screen. You can turn either off at any time; Hunker then works as a plain timer.
Can Hunker block calls or Settings?
Never. The phone app, emergency apps and Settings always work, and so does Hunker itself.
Can Hunker block apps in my private space?
No. Android keeps apps in a private space (Android 15 and later) hidden from other apps, so Hunker can't see, count or block them.
How do I cancel Pro?
In Google Play: Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Or in Hunker: Settings, then Manage subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
